In response to a comment on AC/DC Chris Slade's official Facebook page, AC/DC made it clear that guitarist Angus Young has no plans to retire.

The spokesperson responsible for the page responded to the following fan comment regarding the addition of the song "If You Want Blood (You've Got It)" to the setlist : "I keep wondering why Angus is adding different songs and changing the setlist so much. Maybe it's because he wants to play them and he's thinking about retiring, or maybe he just wants to play some old songs that are rarely played ." The page's response was, "Angus is definitely NOT thinking about retiring .
Axl Rose says he called AC/DC to replace Brian.
In a different response, the spokesperson also commented: “Axl is doing an excellent job and the majority opinion is that the band was right to finish the tour with him. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see the band like this. Everyone would have liked Brian to be there, but because of his health problems that’s not possible.”
