Angus Young confirms that Axl Rose did not record any songs with AC/DC.

The Guns N' Roses vocalist replaced Brian Johnson as lead singer in 2016.

Angus Young confirmed during an interview that Axl Rose neither composed nor recorded new music with AC/DC when he filled in for Brian Johnson on vocals during the latter leg of the Rock or Bust World Tour in 2016.

Young told Rolling Stone : “Nothing solid came out. I know he’s involved in a lot of things. I don’t even know if you’d call it music.” When asked if they had worked on new songs, he replied: “No, no. That never happened.”

Angus didn't go into details, but what may have happened seems to be just informal jam sessions POWER UP, released last year, was entirely created by the current AC/DC lineup, with Brian Johnson back.
