AC/DC's Angus Young and Brian Johnson talk about Malcolm Young

Messages were posted online.

Following the death of AC/DC guitarist and co-founder Malcolm Young last Saturday, numerous messages and tributes have been shared.

AC/DC vocalist Brian Johnson posted the following message:

"For 32 years, we shared the stage side by side..."

I am very sad to hear about the passing of my friend Malcolm Young. I can't believe he's gone. We had such great times on the road.

I always knew he was a guitar genius; his riffs became legendary, and so did he.

I send all my love and affection to his wife Linda, his children Kara and Ross, and to Angus, who I know must be devastated… We all are.

He left a legacy that few can match. He never liked the fame side of being a celebrity; he was too humble for that. He was the man who created AC/DC because he said, 'There's no Rock N' Roll out there.'

I am proud to have known him and to have been able to call him a friend, and I will miss him very much.

I salute you, Malcolm Young.”

And Malcolm's younger brother, Angus Young, wrote:

"As a brother, it's difficult to express in words what he meant to me throughout my life; the bond we had was unique and very special. He leaves behind an enormous legacy that will live on forever.".
