The Magic Mirror tour will be presented at Templo Music on July 28th.
Angra will perform a single show in São Paulo as part of their Magic Mirror on July 28th. The opening act will be the band The Secret Society .
The audience tonight can expect a setlist of songs from the album “ØMNI”, classics from their glorious career, and many surprises from Angra. Formed by Fabio Lione (vocals), Rafael Bittencourt (guitar and vocals), Marcelo Barbosa (guitar), Felipe Andreoli (bass), and Bruno Valverde (drums), the band is at one of the best moments of their career, returning to the top of the charts and managing to reignite the heavy metal market in Brazil.
The opening band, The Secret Society, already has a legion of fans from São Paulo. Formed by Guto Diaz (bass and vocals), Fabiano Cavassin (guitar), and Orlando Custódio (drums), they released three singles at once on social media and digital platforms. The Secret Society follows the path of uniting the vigor of hard rock with the somber, less danceable and percussive post-punk, especially from the foggy England and sunny American West Coast bands of the first half of the 1980s. Killing Joke, Danzig, Sisters Of Mercy, The Cult, Bauhaus, The Cure, Gun Club, and Christian Death are some of the band's acknowledged inspirations.
The show will take place at Templo Music, a modern, air-conditioned, and intimate music venue located in the central region of São Paulo, in the Mooca neighborhood. The audience can feel the musicians' energy on stage due to their close proximity.
