Angra is announced as Saxon's replacement at Monsters Of Rock Colombia.

After guitarist's departure, British band cancels performance.

Angra was announced last Monday, the 20th, as a replacement for Saxon at Monsters Of Rock Colombia .

"It was a great honor to have been invited to Monsters Of Rock in Bogotá, Colombia, a country we love. We'll be together with Kiss , Scorpions , Deep Purple , and Helloween , iconic rock bands that we adore. See you there soon!", wrote the Brazilian group.

Saxon cancelled their performance at the festival after revealing guitarist Paul Quinn . "After many years on the road, with the stress and fatigue that come with long touring schedules, Paul doesn't want his performance to suffer and disappoint his bandmates and fans."

The British band has therefore cancelled all shows in Latin America, including the Brazilian edition of Monsters Of Rock . Candlemass will fill the gap left at the event taking place in April in São Paulo.

Angra is currently on tour celebrating 30 years of their career .
