Fabio Lione , vocalist of Angra , revealed details about joining the band and the reason he turned down their first invitation in an interview with the Flow Podcast .

Invited to replace Andre Matos, the Italian singer declined due to his life circumstances at the time, with many personal and professional commitments to Rhapsody of Fire . Unable to completely change his life and move to Brazil, Lione felt that recommending Edu Falaschi would be better.

“I already knew and was friends with Kiko Loureiro (…) and I said, 'I have a friend, Eduardo, who lives in São Paulo. I think it's better for you and the band to compose a cool, awesome CD with someone closer to you, without commitments to many bands, and who is Brazilian, I think it's easier'.”

When Falaschi left the group, a new invitation was extended to Lione, who accepted without initially being announced as the band's new vocalist. "I wasn't surprised, I imagined it," he said. "The situation wasn't the same anymore, I wasn't 23 anymore, my girlfriend wasn't the same anymore (laughs). In life, everything is a matter of timing: the right place, the right moment, and the right person."

Lione confessed to some discomfort with the delay in officially announcing him as the band's new vocalist, as at the time he was only announced as the singer for that specific album. "Kiko was afraid to say it, but when you see that the fans like it and the show goes well, there's no other option," he commented. "Some of the fans wanted a Brazilian vocalist."
