Angra has released the trailer for the graphic novel based on the lyrics of the album Temple of Shadows (2004), which has been available for pre-order since January . Titled Templo das Sombras (Temple of Shadows ), the graphic novel is published by Estética Torta and features a special finish.
Featuring previews of the artwork's illustrations and a behind-the-scenes look at character and setting studies, the trailer includes testimonials from the people behind the story. "Several parts of the story that weren't told on the album will be told now," says Rafael Bittencourt , responsible for the concept behind the conceptual album, who defines the new release as an "augmented experience."
The narrative follows the story of a Templar knight, known as Shadow Hunter, who begins to question the structures of ecclesiastical power after witnessing the slaughter carried out in the name of God during the "holy war" between the Catholic Church and Muslims in the 11th century. From this moment on, he embarks on a journey of questioning, aiming to give new meaning to his faith.
