In a recent appearance on The Wikimetal Happy Hour , Marcelo Barbosa and Fabio Lione , from Angra , talked about their joint acoustic tour and also discussed the band's future plans.

Marcelo commented that the band members' physical reunion will be essential to deciding the next steps, but he also stated that a new album is a priority for the band.

“We’re already discussing several very concrete plans for next year,” he comments. “I prefer not to go into details yet because with this conversation we’re going to have, some things are still open, but we’re eager to compose, record, and release a new album as soon as possible. I would say with great conviction that there will be a new Angra album next year.” 

Marcelo and Fabio also discussed the first time they met and how they followed each other's simultaneous careers from afar. Watch:
