Sandy transforms into a mysterious black widow in the video for "Black Widow's Web"

Angra highly anticipated music video for "Black Widow's Web." Last Friday, the 13th, the band released the video for the song, a collaboration with Sandy and Alissa White-Gluz .

Directed by Leo Liberti of Libertà Films, the video was filmed almost entirely inside a Gothic church, where the Brazilian singer transformed into a mysterious black widow. In a recent interview with Wikimetal , Liberti spoke about what it was like working with Sandy. "Anyone who thinks Sandy is a girl who wakes up every day, says good morning to the birds and skips around the house is absolutely mistaken," he said.

“At first I was afraid of being too harsh on the script, but Sandy was super open in our first conversation. And the recording was something surprising,” he continued. The song may have caused confusion and even discontent among some fans, but overall, it was a success. Proof of this is the fact that it debuted at number one on Spotify's Viral 50 playlist in Brazil.

“Black Widow's Web” is part of Ømni , Angra's ninth studio album, released in February of this year. The album came four years after Secret Garden , and in addition to Sandy and Alissa, it features Kiko Loureiro , a founding member who is now part of Megadeth .
