Angra continues to celebrate its incredible journey with special performances that are marking the group's history.
Following the success of their acoustic show at the Ópera de Arame in Curitiba in 2023, the band returns to the same stage on August 30, 2024, for another unplugged performance. The show was recorded for an official release later in 2024 on Angra's Acoustic DVD.
The Curitiba show will also feature Kiko Loureiro , formerly of Megadeth , as announced on August 9, 2024, coinciding with the guitarist's solo show in the city.
The success of the acoustic format for the band.
This acoustic format allows Angra to reinvent their songs, presenting restructured versions of their greatest hits, which has pleased both long-time fans and new audiences. The band, which has been on the road for over three decades, remains relevant on the global metal scene, with iconic albums and international tours that have solidified a loyal fanbase.
As previously published here on Wikimetal , the group has already released the music video for "Bleeding Heart," from the album Rebirth (2001), from the acoustic session in Curitiba.
In addition to the show in Curitiba, Angra will bring this acoustic performance to São Paulo on August 17th at Espaço Unimed. This show will feature a special guest and a unique setup.
