Angra revealed this Tuesday, the 4th, the cover, title and release date of their next studio album, the highly anticipated successor to Ømni (2018). With a release announced for November, the new album from the Brazilian power metal band will be called Cycles of Pain .

According to the band, Angra's new project explores "various perspectives on human pain and the cycles that surround it," something already represented in the title ("cycles of suffering," in Portuguese) and in the cover art, created by Erick Pasqua with layout by Jonathan Canuto, which features an angel of death to represent suffering as a recurring experience, yet one capable of building.

“Although pain is inevitable, it is also part of growth and learning. By recognizing and facing these cycles, we can discover our inner strength and find a path to healing and transformation. It is an invitation to reflect on the complexities of human pain, addressing themes such as loss, disillusionment, loneliness and despair, but also conveying a message of resilience, overcoming and hope,” Angra explains in a statement published on social media .

The album Cycles of Pain will be released first in Japan on November 1st, and will arrive in the rest of the world on November 3rd, via Atomic Fire in Europe and America.
