The tour will begin in Salvador.

Angra has announced the first dates of an extensive world tour to promote their new album ØMNI.

With seven shows scheduled in Brazil, the band will tour several countries in Europe, Japan, and some other Latin American countries such as Argentina and Peru. More dates will be added to the tour.

The tour will begin in March 2018 and will feature the band Operation: Mindcrime, with former Queensrÿche vocalist Geoff Tate as a special guest.

ØMNI is Angra's ninth studio album and will be released on February 16th by earMUSIC. Watch the lyric video for the track "Travelers Of Time" here.

According to the band, ØMNI will be a concept album where each song is a science fiction story that takes place in several different locations simultaneously. The album connects the concepts of previous albums ( Holy Land, Rebirth, Temple of Shadows ) to a main system, ØMNI , which in Latin means "everything".

The band announced that the new album will feature guest appearances by Alissa White-Gluz and Sandy , as well as Kiko Loureiro, the current Megadeth guitarist and founder of Angra.
