Just like Scott Ian from Anthrax , Angra also posted a message regarding Anselmo's recent actions . Check out the statement:
“We in Angra deeply regret and condemn the actions taken by vocalist Phil Anselmo a few days ago. As Pantera fans, our disappointment is even greater, as we repudiate any act of discrimination. We sincerely hope that this type of behavior will be increasingly exposed and combated, so that we can continue moving towards a more just, dignified, and egalitarian world.”
Several musicians have already spoken out against Anselmo's racist attitude. Last week, Machine Head vocalist Robb Flynn posted an 11-minute video condemning the singer's behavior and vowing never to play a Pantera song again.
