Anette Olzon postponed her show scheduled for Mister Rock in Belo Horizonte last Sunday, the 28th, due to "severe stomach and intestinal discomfort, including pain and vomiting."

The artist is on tour singing songs from her Nightwish , and has performed in Rio de Janeiro, Recife, Brasília, Curitiba (in October), Porto Alegre, and São Paulo, with Belo Horizonte being the last stop.

Estética Torta , the production company responsible for the tour, issued the following statement:

"We regret to inform you that, due to health reasons, Anette Olzon's show in Belo Horizonte today, at Mister Rock, will need to be postponed."

Anette woke up today with severe stomach and intestinal discomfort, including pain and vomiting. The singer tried until the last minute to keep the performance going, especially since it's in Belo Horizonte, the city of the musicians accompanying her, but she really is unable to leave her room.

The new date will be announced over the next few days and communicated right here. Of course, all tickets will remain valid for the new date. We ask fans to send positive energy to the singer. No one is more frustrated and disappointed than she is. Words of support and affection are very welcome and will certainly help.”

The Swedish singer released two albums with Nightwish, Dark Passion Play (2007) and Imaginaerum (2011). In addition to solo albums such as Shine (2014), Strong (2021) and the recent Rapture (2024). She has also been involved in projects such as The Dark Element — alongside Jani Liimatainen (ex- Sonata Arctica ) — and collaborated with Russell Allen ( Symphony X ) on the albums Worlds Apart (2020) and Army of Dreamers (2022).
