Andreas Kisser , guitarist for Sepultura , confessed his desire to make an album in the style of Metallica 's The Black Album , in a conversation on the Discoteca Básica podcast.
During the episode about the history of the groundbreaking album, the musician expressed his admiration for producer Bob Rock with the band. "The mixing, which is all about changing all the frequencies so that everything has maximum power. Even with the choice of Bob Rock, we already knew that Metallica was experiencing a very special moment, really wanting to make the best and most badass album ever," he commented.
The guitarist pointed out that he still has the desire to work in the same way with Sepultura. “I’ll admit it to you, for me, that’s the biggest challenge. I’d really like to make an album with Sepultura like that, especially after Quadra,” he commented. “It’s very difficult to do something like that, you have to have someone from outside.”
