In an interview with United Rock Nations, the Sepultura guitarist spoke about the band's fanbase and how they received their latest album, "Machine Messiah":

“The fans’ response has been incredible – very positive. It’s great that our fans have grown with us. Of course, we have the haters and such, but we accept them. They are part of Sepultura’s fanbase because they listen to Sepultura, they talk badly about Sepultura, but they keep listening. But it’s great. Overall, the response has been very positive and we are very happy and motivated.”.
