The musician also spoke about the drummer Eloy Casagrande

Andreas Kisser, guitarist for Sepultura, was recently interviewed by Silver Tiger Media about the band's latest album, Machine Messiah .

During the conversation, Andreas reveals that the album released in early 2017 marked a new stage for the band.

“'Machine Messiah' represents the future of Sepultura. It opened new doors for us. Working with Jens Bogren, he's a fantastic producer who understands Sepultura's history and understands where we are today and how we want our music to be.”

Andreas goes on to say that after Machine Messiah , the band still doesn't know where to go with the next album, "But we have so many possibilities .

He also mentions that the band is already writing new songs but has no commitment to using them on a future album.

“And of course, now Eloy Casagrande is in the band and this is his second album with us. He’s incredible. An incredible drummer and an incredible musician. He’s brought us countless different possibilities for how we can use the drums and how I write the riffs.”

Machine Messiah was released in January 2017 by Nuclear Blast and was voted the best album of the year in a Wikimetal poll.
