Guitarist reveals interest in solo work

Brazilian Andreas Kisser revealed that he has "several songs" written for a possible solo album.

During an interview with Impact, the guitarist confirmed that he is thinking about recording the successor to Hubris I & II (2009) but confessed that he doesn't have the time: “Sepultura keeps me busy and I also have De La Tierra (…) I want an album that explores things that I can't do in Sepultura.”

The musician goes on to say that although he used some of his solo material on the band's last album, Machine Messiah (2017), he feels the need to seek a different sound.

"But I don't see myself releasing something on my own in the next few years, because there's so much going on right now. But who knows?"

Sepultura is currently on tour to promote Machine Messiah , released in January 2017 by Nuclear Blast.
