Sepultura: Andreas Kisser talks about the possibility of a show with former members.

"But it's not something we're working on right now, is it?"

Sepultura will soon begin their farewell tour, Celebrating Life Through Death , and in a conversation with the Rockcast , Andreas Kisser commented on the possibility of playing with brothers Iggor and Max Cavalera .

The guitarist said ( via Whiplash.net ): “We’ve already received proposals from some festivals like Ozzfest, like Knotfest itself, among others, to do [the reunion]. But it never went ahead, because that was never our intention, to do it for money or anything else.”

He explains: “Sepultura is what we do today, with respect, with attitude, with motivation to do things. I don't know, man, that's something to think about. It would be cool to invite everyone to a final show, right? But it's something we might work on. It's not a process right now, we're very much at the beginning, right? I think it would even be obvious, right? Motörhead did it, Yes did it, several bands did it.”

"So, it's a possibility, assuming everyone is alive, obviously, right? But it's not something we're working on right now, is it? I think for the final show we want to do in São Paulo, it would be interesting to have everyone there. But it's something to think about."

“That’s not why we’re going to do the last show, is it? I think I want to celebrate, I don’t want to create tension, create ego situations where it’s not needed. I think the intention is to celebrate, to embrace each other and thank each other for being a part of each other’s lives, nothing more than that. But, we’ll see. We’re starting now in Belo Horizonte, I can’t wait to get on stage and begin this saga,” he concluded.
