Andreas Kisser gets a signature Jackson guitar in a new partnership.

The guitar was inspired by Sepultura's latest studio album, 'Quadra' (2020).

Andreas Kisser , guitarist for Sepultura , and Jackson have announced a new partnership for a signature guitar, the musician's first.

In reference to the band's latest album, Quadra (2020), the line carries the name Pro Series Signature Andreas Kisser SL Quadra and is a new version of the legendary Jackson Soloist. The guitar body is constructed of nyatoh and the neck is reinforced with graphite. The pickups are EMG 81 models, while the bridge is a Floyd Rose 1000 Series.

Kisser commented in a press statement: “After three decades playing Jackson guitars, it’s an honor to have the opportunity to launch my own model. With the Quadra , I wanted to create a guitar that was comfortable to play, looked killer, and offered great quality and performance.”

I knew that the cover of our latest album, Quadra , would be a perfect match for the artwork. The design was inspired by conversations with friends, studies, and research on the history of money. Sepultura fans have been asking me for an exclusive design for a long time, so I'm happy that we can finally give them the chance to own the same axe I use to shred my riffs and solos on stage.”

Other important names in rock and heavy metal who own signature Jackson models include Adrian Smith (Iron Maiden), Phil Collen (Def Leppard), Rob Cavestany (Death Angel), Corey Beaulieu (Trivium), Chris Broderick (In Flames, ex-Megadeth), and Misha Mansoor (Periphery).
