Andreas Kisser recently stated on the Xablaw podcast on 89 FM that he will not be sharing the stage with the country music duo Chitãozinho and Xororó . The musicians will perform on the event titled "Brazil Day," marking the country music duo's first appearance at the festival.
Therefore, when questioned by presenter Taynara Chagas , Andreas was direct about the real reason for not continuing the partnership: “Well, I have to say this. It’s like this: I won’t be able to participate in the show because I’ll be on tour in the United States.”
"The story was this: we went there to record the Rock in Rio video, right? And Xororó came up to me at lunchtime and said, 'Hey? Let's do the 21st (of September). Let's play there?' And I said, 'Sure! Let's go!' I accepted right away."
Two minutes after the brief conversation, Xororó revealed the information in an interview; however, Kisser, upon checking his schedule, noticed the date conflict: “But then, later, I checked my schedule. And then I saw that we ( Sepultura ) will be in the United States, we have a tour from September 12th to October 12th.”
"I already spoke with Xororó, I thanked him for the invitation, I said it was my mistake. But I was very happy, very honored to receive this invitation," concluded the guitarist.
