Despite rumors about negotiations for brothers Max  and Iggor Cavalera Sepultura 's farewell shows , Andreas Kisser reiterated that the brothers "apparently" do not want to participate.

However, in an interview with the channel 100 Segredo, Andreas Kisser completely ruled out any possibility of a reunion with Max and Igor Cavalera, stating that "it's over" and that he sees no point in resuming an old lineup. The guitarist emphasized that he has "absolutely no desire" to play with the brothers again, citing practical and interpersonal problems that would make any reunion unfeasible.

“Why do we have to go back? It doesn’t make sense. To bring someone, to see which song they’re going to play… The dressing room, what time are they going to arrive? Will there be rehearsal or not? Do they want to play this one? If not, are they going to play it or not? First of all, I have absolutely no desire to play with them again, you understand? And Sepultura is in a different place right now,” stated Andreas [transcription via Mundo Metal ].

Andreas finds Max's current performance "lamentable".

According to him, Sepultura is currently experiencing a “more genuine and reliable” moment, working with people who “look you in the eye, without ulterior motives.” Kisser also criticized the public pressure for a reunion, reinforcing that each band has its own history. “I don’t understand this pressure of ‘because others do it, we have to do it too.’ Our moment has passed. It was what it was.” He recalled that Max left in 1996 and Igor only in 2006, a period in which the group still produced important albums such as Against , Nation , and Dante XXI . For him, the current Sepultura is the result of constant renewal: “we create a new Sepultura every day.”

The musician highlighted the positive atmosphere of the current lineup, which shares dressing rooms, dinners, and conversations without conflict. For him, the band isn't "held hostage by personas," but by the genuine identity of each member. Kisser stated that the group will play its last show next year with those who truly want to be there, and affirmed that the Cavaleras haven't shown interest: "It seems they don't want to participate, and that's fine, okay."

Finally, Andreas Kisser said he wouldn't go on stage with Max without knowing if he would be willing to play, even describing the former vocalist's current performance as "lamentable." "What's the point of other bands coming back? Why would I go on stage [with Max] without knowing what's going to happen? 'Oh, Max is tired today, he doesn't want to do this,' you know? 'Oh, I can't sing, I can't do this.' Watching him play is lamentable, actually. He's stuck in the past. There's no musical or technical evolution. He's even doing things we wrote 30 years ago," Andreas concluded.

Sepultura is reportedly negotiating a final show with the Cavalera brothers in attendance.

Despite the troubled relationship between brothers Max and Iggor Cavalera and the remaining members of the band, in an interview with the Benja Me Mucho , the guitarist revealed that the managers of the Cavalera brothers and Sepultura are in talks for a reunion to happen [transcription via Whiplash ]:

"It's not much of a surprise, is it? We've already said we want to throw a big party, with friendly and guest bands, a big 'Sepulfest'. And invite the musicians who were part of this band, including the Cavalera brothers, right? I've said this in several interviews, our managers are already communicating. And I hope it happens. We'll see, we have some time to organize it."

Furthermore, in a conversation with the 100 Segredo channel , Andreas admitted his desire for a reunion with former members: “I would really like them to participate in this last show. Not only them, but all the members, Jairo [ Guedz ] , Eloy [ Casagrande ], even Roy Mayorga who joined after Igor left. Silvio Golfetti , who, when I broke my arm, went there and toured with us. Jean Patton , who, when Patricia [ Kisser ] passed away , replaced me in Europe. Amilcar Cristófaro , who also participated when Jean got injured, Eloy, and Bruno Valverde , man, a super important group of people who were part of this story of keeping Sepultura alive and relevant to this day, 42 years later.”
