On September 14th, if he were alive, Andre Matos would have turned 49, and fans couldn't let the date pass unnoticed. A live stream titled ALive brought together musicians and friends of the singer in a grand celebration of his life and legacy.
Hugo Mariutti (guitar), João Millet (guitar), Andre “Zaza” Hernandes (guitar), Bruno Ladislau (bass), Rodrigo Silveira (drums), and Rafael Rosa (drums) were some of the names featured in the broadcast. In addition to the concert, ALive also included interviews conducted by Bruno Sutter with Sascha Paeth , Miro Rodenberg , and Amanda Somerville .
ALive received help from fans through an online crowdfunding campaign, from Andre Matos' family, and sponsorship from the UOL portal, in addition to the documentary's production, overseen by director Anderson Bellini , journalist Thiago Rahal Mauro , and audiovisual producer Renato Villegas The event also aimed to raise funds for the team that accompanied the musician, who are now unable to work due to COVID-19 restrictions.
