On September 14th, Andre Matos would have turned 51, and to commemorate the date, the director of the documentary Andre Matos – Maestro do Rock , Anderson Bellini , together with Manifesto Bar , conceived a very special event that will take place on Saturday the 17th, starting at 2 pm, at Manifesto Bar, in São Paulo.
This is the Andre Matos Experience – The 51st Anniversary of The Maestro of Rock , made for fans, friends and family, and will feature several attractions: the premiere of a 1-hour screening of Episode 2 of the Andre Matos – Maestro of Rock documentary in ultra-high definition; a pocket show with the Alive performed in 2020, featuring Andre singing on a state-of-the-art LED screen; a performance by the Andre Matos Here I AM Tribute with a setlist focused on the repertoire of the "Andre Phase" in Angra and with special guests; an exhibition with personal and rare items of the Maestro loaned by his family; as well as the sale of official film merchandise with some never-before-seen items.
The Andre Matos Experience – The 51st Anniversary of The Maestro of Rock is a partnership between Manifesto Bar and the band Andre Matos Here I Am, with support from the Maestro's family.

The documentary
The documentary Andre Matos – Maestro of Rock has been in production since 2019 by director Anderson Bellini, with the support of the Maestro's family, who donated a box containing approximately 150 previously unreleased recorded tapes. The documentary will be divided into four parts and will show how Andre was a "rock star" who never wanted to be a star and wasn't afraid to start his career from scratch, because not even his peak and success could hold him back. This is what set him apart and made him admired by a legion of fans worldwide.
The first episode was released on September 14, 2021, when Andre would have turned 50. The second episode is scheduled for release in 2023, and the trailer can be seen on the Andre Matos Doc YouTube channel . Episode 2
The highly anticipated second part of the documentary Andre Matos – Maestro do Rock will be released in 2023. The film is being produced independently and funded through crowdfunding with the help of Andre Matos' fans.
Andre Matos Experience – The 51st Anniversary of The Maestro of Rock event , a one-hour screening of the second film will be shown exclusively, seven months before its release.
The 'Alive' show
On September 14, 2020, the day the Maestro of Rock would have turned 49, Andre Matos' fans witnessed online the Alive event, which revived Andre's solo work for a farewell performance with his solo band.
Alive brought together musicians who played with the Maestro during his solo career for a historic show, including Hugo Mariutti (guitar), João Millet (guitar), Andre “Zaza” Hernandes (guitar), Bruno Ladislau (bass), Rodrigo Silveira (drums), and Rafael Rosa (drums).
With a mega-production Andre Matos Alive showcased the performance with Andre Matos himself "singing" on a high-definition screen with projections of the artist at various moments in his solo career, accompanied by his band.
The Alive concert was streamed on the Andre Matos – Maestro do Rock Documentary and on UOL 's Facebook and YouTube , achieving impressive numbers that, combined, reach over 150,000 views.
The event Andre Matos Experience – The 51st Anniversary of The Maestro of Rock , will recreate this historic moment live for the first time with a live audience.
The tribute band
The Here I AM Official Tribute is the only cover band in the world officially recognized by Andre's family. Formed by Eric Bruce (vocals), Renan Cardoso (bass), Roney Araujo (guitar), Diego Rocha (keyboards), and Alex Cristopher (drums), they perform a repertoire encompassing all phases and bands of the Maestro of Rock.
For the show Andre Matos Experience – The 51st Anniversary of The Maestro of Rock , they are preparing a setlist focused on the era portrayed in Episode 2 of the documentary Andre Matos – Maestro of Rock , the band Angra. During the performance they will be joined by some special guests who will be announced soon.
The exhibition
During the event there will be an exhibition of Andre's personal items provided by his family, so that fans and friends can see such rare and personal material. Personal accessories, photos, instruments, clothing and various other items will be on display that day.
