The second part of the documentary Andre Matos – Maestro do Rock will be shown in a single presentation at the J.Safra Theater in São Paulo on May 19th, with special guests and an exhibition of the artist's personal items.
In this new part of the documentary, divided into three parts, the audience will follow Andre Matos' entry into the Santa Marcelina Music College, where he met his future Angra . According to the film's production team, fans can expect "bombshell statements" from Andre himself, Kiko Loureiro , and Rafael Bittencourt about the disagreements between them and the vocalist's subsequent departure from the band.
Released in 2021, the first part of the documentary had a premiere event at the Municipal Theater . The screening event for the second episode of the production will begin at 6 PM and will feature special guests, family members of the vocalist and conductor, and an exhibition with personal items of Andre that have never been shown before.
Among those already confirmed to attend are director Anderson Bellini and advertising executive Eco Moliterno , cousin of Andre Matos, who will be there to talk to the audience and share interesting facts about the production.
Ticket sales begin this Friday, March 17th, on the Eventim . Prices range from R$ 20.00 to R$ 60.00. The J. Safra Theater is located at R. Josef Kryss, 318, Barra Funda, São Paulo.
