Andi Deris, lead singer of Helloween, says that Michael Kiske is his friend.

In an interview with Metal Command , Helloween vocalist Andi Deris spoke about the band's career, the future, and his relationship with Michael Kiske : "He's a good friend of mine, which I never expected .

Helloween is currently touring with the Pumpkins United World Tour , which reunites former members Michael Kiske and Kai Hansen. The collaboration has also resulted in a new song, which can be heard below.

Michael Kiske was the vocalist for the German band from 1986, where he released the classic albums Keeper Of The Seven Keys I and II, until 1993 when he was fired and shortly afterwards replaced by Andi Deris, at the time the vocalist for the Hard Rock band Pink Cream 69.
