An unauthorized film about Chris Cornell is in production.

The biopic 'Black Days' is set to depict the final days of the grunge icon.

After the controversy surrounding a Chris Cornell 's life was denied by Vicky Cornell , another production about the artist is officially in production… but it doesn't seem to have the family's approval.

The film, titled Black Days , aims to portray the last days of Chris's life and will be produced by Road Rage Films starting September 10th in Los Angeles. The website Backstage also indicates that the production is currently seeking actors for the film.

In a note to Pitchfork yesterday, the 24th, Cornell representatives stated that "no one has contacted them for any information."

On July 28th, the first biography about the artist was released, titled Total F*cking Godhead – The Biography Of Chris Cornell .
