Amy Lee receives jambu-infused cachaça from a Brazilian fan: "I loved it"

Amy Lee was given a bottle of jambu-flavored cachaça by a fan, which the singer greatly appreciated.

In an Instagram story post, she shared a photo of the drink and wrote: “This is totally unique and I loved it. The taste and the sensation, wow!” and then thanked Amanda Haber, the fan who gave Lee the cachaça.

The drink produces a very characteristic sensation of numbness and tingling on the lips.

Evanescence in Brazil

Evanescence is touring Brazil. The group performed in Curitiba (October 19), São Paulo , and Rio de Janeiro (October 23). After two shows in Belo Horizonte (October 25 and 26), the group will head to Recife (October 28), the last date of their shows in the country.

The vocalist also spoke about her favorite Brazilian artists . Amy Lee revealed that, through fan recommendations, she discovered the careers of Pitty and Rita Lee .
