With the pandemic, bands have had to adapt the way they connect with fans, and virtual concerts have been one of the ways artists have found to do this. Evanescence is one of the bands that will be testing this new model.

In a recent interview with the show Way Too Early (via Blabbermouth ), vocalist Amy Lee revealed that the band is preparing a live stream for October: “This whole year has been about finding a new way to do what we usually do. It’s a challenge, but we really enjoy finding a way to spend [our time] and connect with people, even if we have to be at home and do things differently.”

“So, we’re going to do some kind of virtual home performance with the whole band. Actually, we have people all over the country, and one band member in Germany.” Amy didn’t reveal any dates or details about the broadcast, but stated that the event will celebrate the release of the album The Bitter Truth – which still has no release date – and to “send a positive message to the fans.”
