Amy Lee, lead singer of Evanescence , has partnered with Grammy- nominated singer Halsey for the new song "Hand That Feeds." And this Friday, May 30th, they are releasing the music video for the track, directed by Hannah Lux Davis .

The song is part of the soundtrack for the film Ballerina John Wick spin-off starring Ana de Armas as
Eve , an assassin seeking revenge against her family's killers. The film is scheduled to premiere on June 6th of this year.

Amy Lee made the announcement via social media on the day of the track's release:

“I’m so excited to bring you a brand new song, ‘Hand That Feeds , featuring Halsey, THIS FRIDAY! We’ve been fans of each other’s work for a long time and it really feels like the universe brought us together for this moment. We already had the Hollywood Bowl show booked when Lionsgate invited us to work together on a song for the movie Ballerina . And finally, the time has come to present it! I can’t wait for you all to hear it!!”

Previously, Halsey, who has been a fan of Evanescence since childhood, promoted her 2024 album, The Great Impersonator, where the singer dressed up as 18 of her musical heroes. One of them was Amy Lee, whose album cover, Fallen, .

Amy Lee and Halsey thrilled fans by performing the song "Hand That Feeds" live for the first time during their show on May 14th at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. 

In a recent interview with Audacy Music , Amy Lee confirmed that Evanescence is working on a new album, but there is still no release date.
