Everyone was in costume at the event
An amusement park in the UK has been receiving a lot of attention in recent days following a Halloween prank.
Adventure Kidz, a park for children and teenagers, encouraged its employees to come to work in costume in honor of Halloween, which takes place at the end of this month.
What was initially interpreted as a mask of the character Leatherface from the movie The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, generated controversy when it was realized that it was actually the mask of Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor, from the 2008 album All Hope Is Gone
Despite the park having warned all visitors that employees would be in costume that day, one mother found the mask inappropriate. In a Facebook post, she said the park had gone too far and that “there were many other costumes that could have been used. They could have gone as Frankenstein or Dracula, they didn't need a man wearing a mask .
The owner of Adventure Kidz, Andrew Moody, immediately apologized, also in a Facebook post, saying that the situation was resolved shortly after the families were startled and that the outrage towards his employees was unnecessary since everyone was in costume.
