Amon Amarth released their new single “We Rule The Waves” this Thursday, the 17th. The single is accompanied by an epic music video filmed in Riga, Latvia, continuing the band's collaboration with Pavel Trebukhin of Tre Film, who directed the videos for “The Great Heathen Army”, “Heidrun” and “Saxons & Vikings”.

Produced with the help of Grammy-nominated producer and mixing engineer Jacob Hansen ( Volbeat, Arch Enemy, The Black Dahlia Murder, Katatonia ), this is more than just a song. It's a sonic assault, carved from salt and steel, echoing across the oceans.

In a press release, Amon Amarth commented:

“'We Rule The Waves' is our tribute to the spirit of freedom, brotherhood, and the will to conquer—not just lands, but your own limitations. It's about standing firm with your clan, facing the storm head-on, and leaving your mark on the world like a Viking longship on darkened seas.”

Earlier this week, Amon Amarth kicked off their US tour with Pantera . Dubbed "The Heaviest Tour of the Summer," the tour began on July 15th in Burgettstown, Pennsylvania. It will also visit over two dozen cities, ending on September 13th in West Palm Beach, Florida. Snafu, Shock Narcotic, King Parrot, and Flesh Hoarder will also perform on select dates.
