Kings of Viking metal, Amon Amarth released this Thursday, the 17th, the single "Put Your Back Into The Oar", the first new song in 2022 and which should be part of the band's next album, still without a name or release date.
The single was released with a well-produced music video, as is customary in Amon Amarth's productions, in which a paleontologist finds weapons and a Viking skull during research.
When the scientist goes to sleep, she is taken on a journey by the Vikings in the band, living with them and discovering the circumstances of those men's deaths – which occurred in battle and led them straight to Valhalla, the palace in Norse mythology reserved only for the noblest warriors.
