Drummer says he's thrilled with the recognition.
Amilcar Christófaro, drummer for Torture Squad , is on the cover of the May issue of Modern Drummer Brazil magazine. In an interview, the musician talked about his career, equipment, and the group's new album, "Esquadrão de Tortura" (2013).
The drummer wrote a text expressing his happiness at being featured in the magazine: “As I write, my heart, which was in a more Sabbath-like rhythm, jumped to Slayer and is reaching Morbid Angel in milliseconds. I feel numb seeing myself on the cover of the Brazilian version of the most important drumming magazine in history… Modern Drummer.”
