Marilyn Manson has a very specific stage persona. This makes him successful as an actor in both film and television roles. According to Deadline , Manson has added a new role to his resume. He will be in four episodes of the third season of the series American Gods .
Manson will play Johan Wengren Mr. Wednesday 's character in his war against the new gods.
"As a big admirer of his talent as an author, artist, musician, and actor, it's really cool to work with Mr. Manson," said showrunner Chic Eglee .
"Bringing his unique energy, wit, and enthusiasm to the role of Odin's assistant, his performance promises to be unsettling, original, and unique.".
The third season is expected to arrive in 2020.
