Coronavirus: Amazon will stop restocking vinyl records during the pandemic.

The company needs more space to replenish its stock of preventative items

The online retail giant, Amazon, will stop restocking vinyl records during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The reason? To have more space in their warehouses for essential products during this difficult time, such as hand sanitizer, masks, toilet paper, and medical supplies. Other products besides vinyl records will also be on the list of items not to be restocked during this period.

The physical CD and LP industry is going through a delicate moment, as seen previously with the postponement of Record Store Day , for example. However, you can (and should!) continue supporting your favorite artists by buying records on their official websites.
