The duo will release their debut album this year.
Altitudes & Attitude, the project of bassists David Ellefson (Megadeth) and Frank Bello (Anthrax), will release their first studio album in 2018.
Still without a name or release date announced, the album is already in the final stages of production, led by Jay Ruston (Anthrax, Steel Panther, Stone Sour).
In an interview with AXS, Bello explains that he was responsible for vocals and guitar while Ellefson handled bass. For drums, the duo invited Jeff Friedl from A Perfect Circle to contribute.
He also mentions that after the EP's release in 2014, both became busy with their respective bands and had to put the project aside for a while, but during 2016 and 2017, they were able to gather tracks to compose a full studio album.
Regarding the band's sound, Bello reveals that he considers it Hard Rock. "It's not Metal! It's Hard Rock with melody ," he says.
Anthrax will release their live DVD Kings Among Scotland on April 27th via Megaforce. Megadeth is currently on hiatus and recording in the studio, with no release date yet set for the successor to Dystopia (2016).
