Despite recent solo Myles Kennedy Mark Tremonti with the band Tremonti Alter Bridge fans can rest assured: the band plans to begin recording their next album in the first half of 2022.
The successor to Walk The Sky (2019) is still in the early stages of conception, as Tremonti told MetalTalk , according to a Blabbermouth . “We’re planning to go into the studio in April and May to record the next Alter Bridge album. But, at the moment, Myles and I haven’t exchanged ideas, we’re just working separately. Scott Phillips [drummer] was coming over today so I could show him some ideas,” he said. “I’m going to write songs and think about arrangements with Scott. We’re going to make demos and I think Myles and I are going to get together, compare demos and hopefully we’ll be ready by April. We’re giving it our all.”
In August, the guitarist had already commented on plans to do a new tour with the band in the winter of next year, starting in December 2022 and extending until March 2023 in North America. Before that, the Tremonti project and Myles' partnership with Slash and The Conspirators will be on their own tours.
