Alter Bridge has released the second single from their new album Pawns & Kings. “Silver Tongue” follows the title track and delivers a powerful and aggressive sound.
To celebrate the news, the group teamed up with creative director Ollie Jones for an animated video, which you can check out at the end of this article.
Pawns & Kings will be released on October 14th by Napalm Records and is already available for pre-order.
In a recent interview with the program My Planet Rocks (via Guitar World ), Mark Tremonti revealed that Myles Kennedy was responsible for creating some of the heaviest riffs on the new album. "There are some really heavy riffs [on the album]," he said.
"It's funny that even the producers can't tell the difference between who created what, because when the band started, I was the heavy guy, Myles was the more sentimental one. And now you can't even tell the difference anymore.".
Alter Bridge returns to the road in November and stays until December with the European leg of the tour.
