New self-titled album will be released this Friday, the 9th

Alter Bridge released their new single “Scales Are Falling” this Wednesday, the 7th, the third from their new self-titled album , which will be released this Friday, the 9th, by Napalm Records .

“Scales Are Falling” explores the moment a lie is revealed and the emotional impact the truth can have when it’s unveiled. Vocalist and guitarist Myles Kennedy explained: “It’s when you realize the reality of a situation where you’ve been deceived. You see the truth and how harsh it is.”

Guitarist Mark Tremonti added: “I was excited for this one. It has an engaging atmosphere, with lots of highs and lows, and nuances of mood. I play a solo in the bridge, and Myles plays the final part.”

Produced by Michael “Elvis” Baskette , a longtime collaborator and producer of the band, Alter Bridge features 12 new tracks. To promote the release of the new album, the band will embark on the What Lies Within tour, passing through Europe and North America.

Alter Bridge will also be performing in Brazil as the opening act for Iron Maiden on October 25th and 27th at Allianz Parque in São Paulo. There are a few tickets left for sale on the LIVEPASS website for October 27th.
