Alter Bridge released their seventh studio album, Pawns & Kings, this Friday, the 14th.

The album is the sequel to Walk The Sky (2019) and, like its predecessor, was recorded at Studio Barbarosa in Gotha, Florida, with producer Michael “Elvis” Baskette .

In a recent interview with the program My Planet Rocks (via Guitar World ), Mark Tremonti revealed that Myles Kennedy was responsible for creating some of the heaviest riffs on the new album. "There are some really heavy riffs [on the album]," he said.

"It's funny that even the producers can't tell the difference between who created what, because when the band started, I was the heavy guy, Myles was the more sentimental one. And now you can't even tell the difference anymore.".
