In a recent interview, Mark Tremonti spoke a bit about his future plans and revealed the name and release date of Alter Bridge – and the debut is very close.
Mark's schedule is quite full in 2022, including a European tour with Tremonti between June and July, and Frank Sinatra tribute album to be released on May 27th. Amidst all this, there's also news about Alter Bridge:
“The Alter Bridge album will be mixed while I’m on tour in Europe [with Tremonti ] and should be released on October 14th. This album is called Pawns & Kings ,” he said.
The guitarist also said he plans to book some European dates to tour with Frank Sinatra's band as a way to promote the album. He admits he knows it will be "two very busy years," but that he also expected this because of the pandemic.
“COVID was the biggest break I’ve ever had in my professional career, but that was predictable. Everyone was at a standstill for two years and now the gates have opened and we can go back. Everyone is out on the streets doing their things, so it will be a very busy few years,” he concludes.
