The São Paulo-based hard rock and metal band Allen Key released today, the 18th, the music video for the song “Goodbye”, an intimate and moving work that addresses loss and the current scenario of 2020.
The video shows how rebirth can encourage listeners to find strength within themselves.
According to Pedro Fornar i, the band's guitarist, the song and music video convey a message of overcoming adversity to everyone who has lost someone, especially this year, which has been so emotionally taxing. "I hope they can face all of this with more strength after listening," he says.
“Goodbye” reflects on how bad things can transform into something beautiful. “The song was written after band members lost friends, family, and artists we idolized. We understand that it’s necessary to remember those moments, to get to know ourselves again, and to release all the pain into light. And that’s what we convey in the song,” concludes guitarist Victor Anselmo .
