The Recording Academy has denied the veracity of the alleged list
A supposed list of the 2019 Grammy winners has been leaked on social media. According to a Twitter profile, the Academy's website was hacked, which is why the winners were leaked.
Later, the tweets were deleted. But there are still photos with the list. In it, Greta Van Fleet lost the Best New Artist award to the R&B duo Chloe x Halle . This is one of the four categories in which the band is nominated.
In an official statement, the Recording Academy denied the veracity of the list.
