Alissa White-Gluz reveals details about her first solo album.

The album was scheduled to be released in 2017.

Alissa White-Gluz, vocalist of Arch Enemy, will release her first solo album and has revealed some details about the project.

Initially, the album was scheduled for release in 2017, but Alissa emphasizes that there is no deadline for finishing it, as she wants to take her time with the album.

“I don’t want songs that are just thrown together. Some of them I wrote myself, while others are collaborations with friends or musicians I enjoy working with, so I’m using this album to express myself in a fun way.”

She also mentions that this will be her first time working with a producer, but that she's still looking for one. Busy with Arch Enemy, the vocalist says she had to put her project aside, but her fans can expect a release soon, perhaps even this year.

Titled Alissa , the album will reveal much of her personality that was still hidden in her other works such as Arch Enemy and The Agonist.
