Powerwolf invited Alissa White-Gluz , vocalist of Arch Enemy , for the release of a new version of "Demons Are A Girl Best Friend", a single from the album The Sacrament of Sin (2018).

This time featuring only Alissa's voice, the new version of the track also underwent changes in the lyrics and the music video, which maintains the same premise but with a reversal of gender roles. "I really liked the song, but I felt the only way to do a true cover would be to interpret the song to uplift and empower women, instead of demonizing or objectifying them," she said on social media.

The suggestions for change were embraced by Powerwolf, who extended the invitation and released the track on the band's official platforms. “When I presented my version, I think my exact words were something like, 'Here's the song, but I expect a pile of naked monks at my feet in return!' – just kidding,” he said. “I didn't expect it, but not only did they approve my modifications, they also made the music video happen! I have a lot of respect for Powerwolf for being so open to the new interpretation of the song.”

The singer suggests that the audience watch both versions of the music video in sequence, as there is a greater "balance" now. See below.
