Lyria 's vocalist , Aline Happ , continues her series of covers with an a cappella version of Linkin Park's "Numb".
The song is divided into various vocal ranges emulated by Happ, who showcases her vocal abilities ranging from contralto to soprano. "This song is quite powerful, and Linkin Park is one of my favorite bands, so I wanted to pay homage," the singer comments.
In her solo project, Aline Happ creates gothic/folk/celtic reinterpretations of rock and metal songs on her YouTube channel. The singer has already lent her voice to versions of songs by Evanescence , Metallica , and Scorpions . The initiative sought to raise funds through crowdfunding for Happ's debut solo album. Thanks to fan support, the goal was exceeded by more than 200%, and the singer's album is expected to be released in 2021.
