William DuVall , vocalist of Alice in Chains , commented on shows and the band's subsequent return to the stage in 2025.

In recent years, only two performances have taken place – as the focus was on Jerry Cantrell 's solo career with two albums being released – the first in 2023 and the most recent at last year's Sick New World in Las Vegas.

In a conversation with Full Metal Jackie [via Blabbermouth ], DuVall responded to how things are going between him and his bandmates at the moment. In his response, the vocalist says he is "excited" to get back on stage.

“Well, we’re excited about these dates we have in May. We’re excited to get out there and see everyone again. We always talk and keep in touch regularly, so we’ll have to see what comes after May. I really wouldn’t want to say anything more than that. But yes, we’re thrilled about these shows. We can’t wait.”

On May 10, 11, and 16, the group will perform at the MMRBQ , Sonic Temple , and Welcome To Rockville , respectively.

In addition, Alice in Chains will play three solo shows in the United States in the same month, and on July 5th, they will also perform at Black Sabbath 's farewell concert in Birmingham.
