Alice in Chains pays tribute to Chris Cornell during Rock on the Range festival.

The band played two Soundgarden tracks celebrating the singer's career.

Last Friday, the 18th, marked one year since the death of the iconic Chris Cornell . During that day, numerous tributes were made to the singer, from vigils to songs, and one of them was by Alice in Chains.

During the Rock on the Range festival, the band performed two Soundgarden covers, the latter of which was fronted by Cornell. The first was "Hunted Down," the band's first single released in 1987 on their debut EP Screaming Life , and "Boot Camp" was the second. This track is the last on the album Down on the Upside (1996), released before the group's breakup.

Although neither song is among the group's most famous, many fans in the audience recognized and were moved by the tribute. For those who didn't immediately understand what was happening, Alice in Chains helped them: at the back of the stage, the letters CC and SG were lit up during the performance of the tracks.
