Currently, Alice in Chains is preparing for the release of their first album in five years, the successor to The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here (2013). The first track from the album has already been released and premiered live during a show in New York.

Meanwhile, Judas Priest is on the road promoting their album Firepower , released in March of this year. Glenn Tipton is not accompanying the band on this tour due to the progression of Parkinson's disease , which prevents him from accurately performing all the songs. The guitarist has been replaced by Andy Sneap.

To complete the festival's lineup, the band Black Star Riders will also be coming to Brazil. The second edition of Solid Rock will take place in Curitiba (November 8th at Pedreira Paulo Leminski), São Paulo (November 10th at Allianz Parque), Rio de Janeiro (November 11th at Km de Vantagens Hall RJ), and Belo Horizonte (November 14th at Expominas).

In 2017, the Solid Rock festival brought Deep Purple , Cheap Trick , and Tesla to the country. More information about tickets will be released soon. Sales will begin on June 26th on the Tickets For Fun website.
